Why do I need an access code for a free app?

Our app is clinical area specific, so is only accessible to those in that clinical area. The code that you are given gives you access to an app with activities that your care team has chosen for you to do.

What if I need to write to my clinician to ask for help?

Messages that you send via support@medopad.com will not be sent to the clinical team. This is a support email where you can request technical support from Medopad experts.

I do not understand the 6-minute walk test, and why
Blood Pressure is not taken before and after?

The 6-minute walk test via the app captures information regarding the patient's mobility/movement, and this provides the doctors/nurses with a fuller picture of how the patient is doing at home between clinic appointments.

The Medopad app is not meant to replace this protocol that takes place during a clinic appointment, but instead acts as an additional source of information for clinicians to oversee.

How do I reset my password?

1. Open the app to the home screen, where you usually insert your username and password.

2. At the bottom of the page there is a link that says 'register/reset password'.

3. Click on this link and it will allow you to reset your password using the email address you registered your account with.

I have noticed a difference between a patient’s 6-minute
walk test done in clinic and at home, why is this?

The accuracy of the distance reading will vary depending on GPS signal quality and the accuracy of your stride length.
