Setting up the clinician portal

In the clinician portal, you can see your patients information and use it to help your clinical decisions.

Access to the clinician portal is subject to pre-agreement with patients:

  1. To create an account with Medopad click here

  2. Select Don’t have a Medopad account? Create one

  3. Register you account:

    • Name

    • Work email address

    • Password

    • Activation code provided by your Engagement manager. Please do not share the activation code with anyone else, without prior agreement with Medopad, as doing so may breach patient confidentiality and information governance.  

  4. You will receive a verification email to activate your account.

  5. You are now registered on the Portal. Please log in using your email and password.

When you log in you will find the Portal’s homepage. Here you can see the list of patients that are registered on the Medopad app.

You can search for your patients by name, date of birth, NHS number or when they were last active. Once you find the patient you want to review please click on their name. This will open the patients profile page.


On the left top corner you will find 3 symbols:

  • Graph - takes you to the patient’s modules

  • Person - takes you to the patient’s demographic details

  • Comment - you can add a review after assessing the patient’s data







Modules:

Blood Pressure and Heart Rate 

Here you can see the results entered by the patient. The systolic and the diastolic readings are shown. You can use the horizontal scrub to search for information in certain days.

Steps and weight

Here you can see the number of steps a patient has done. This data is collected directly from the patient's phone, so it’s important they carry it at all times. The Apple watch can also monitor daily steps. 

You can chose the option to compare different data points as shown in the image.

Medication tracker

Here you can see the medications that patients have entered and taken, therefore can see their medication compliance. 

In this module, you can see active mediation (medication currently being taken), PRN medication (medication that the patient takes as/when required as per the prescription) and the historical medication.

 

Journal 

Here you can read each entry inputted by the patient on various days and at various times.

6 minute walk test 

Here you can see the data collected from the patients phone, once they have done the 6 minute walk test. 

In the tabulated view you can sort the data based on date submitted, the distance walked, the number of steps walked, the peak heart rate and the final heart rate.

Symptoms 

Here you can see the symptoms that the patient has said they are experiencing. You can sort the data by each date inputed or by severity of the symptom reported.

Questionnaire 

Here you can see the answers on the questionnaire configured for their specific deployment. You can adjust the tabulated view to show them a list ordered by their choice of remit e.g. a specific question answer, or the date inputted etc. If there is more than one questionnaire, you can choose which one they want to view by selecting it from the module menu on the left hand side.

Here you can see the photos that patients have uploaded and any comments they have added.

Temperature

Here you can see the temperature that the patient has inputted.

Here you can see the data inputted by the patient in regards to their blood glucose reading.

Navigating through the data.  

REMEMBER: to view another patient's information, you need to return to the ‘Home page’ by clicking on the Medopad logo. Here you can select another patient to delve into and review the data of each patient.
