Medopad Activity Guide
On the homescreen, you will find all the activities your care team has chosen for you to complete. From here you can navigate to your profile and the learn section which contains useful links and information tailored for you.
You can record your blood sugar readings which will be shared automatically with your care team.
Maintaining normal blood pressure is important for keeping healthy. Although some change during the day is normal, having a regularly high blood pressure increases your risk of serious medical problems in the future.
Measuring your blood pressure at home gives your care team extra information about your health which can be used to give insight into your condition and inform your care.
If you don’t have a Blood Pressure cuff at home, you can take a free Blood Pressure test at your local pharmacy. To add your results, tap on Systolic (the higher number) and then Diastolic (the smaller number).
The Date and Time will automatically be set as the time you are writing, but you can also change the Date and Time (AM or PM) to an earlier timing.

This is your space where you can write down how you feel.
A picture is worth a thousand words. The photo feature allows you to take photos within the Medopad app that your care team may have requested. You can also collect snapshots of useful information to look at later.
You will be prompted to allow Medopad access to your camera.
These questionnaires have been chosen by your team for you and should be completed as recommended.
From walking the dog to moving around the house – it all counts. If you keep your mobile in your pocket the Medopad app will create a picture of your general activity based on your step-count. Information about how many steps you take and your general activity over time gives your care team extra insight into your health, which can be used to inform your care.
Your smartphone will record your daily steps if you carry it with you. You will be prompted to allow Medopad access to display your steps data.
Use this feature to keep track of your symptoms as they happen. Keeping a symptom diary gives you and your care team better insight into how you are feeling so that they can provide you with the best care possible.
Tracking your temperature over time using Medopad can help you and your care team form a better picture of your overall health and what affects it. For people with certain conditions or taking specific medications, monitoring temperature is an important part of planning care.
Sometimes the simplest option is just to take a video of what you are experiencing. Use this feature to record a video securely and share it with your care team remotely.
You will be prompted to allow Medopad access to your camera and microphone.
This test will measure the distance you are able to walk without stopping for 6 minutes. Simple on-screen instructions will guide you through the test. It’s important that you carry the phone with the screen on so it’s easier to check the timer and to ensure the distance is correctly measured. After the 6-minute walk there is a 3-minute rest, after this the results are saved. For best results try to use the same walking route for every test.
Body weight is influenced by diet, hydration, and lifestyle. Tracking your weight over time using Medopad can help you and your care team form a better picture of your overall health and what affects it. For people with certain conditions or taking specific medications, monitoring weight is an important part of planning care.
